Regional Sales Manager
Attune Foods is seeking a manager to work with assigned brokers, distributors and customers as we grow our core businesses and continue to build on our strong track record of innovation. The ideal candidate will combine experience in broker management and direct sales with a passion for food as they lead our broker team and call on retailers directly to grow our business. About the position
As part of the team, the Region Sales Manager will play a key role in the company’s growth and will spearhead our broker, distributor and retailer relationships, manage our activities by growing the business to meet and exceed goals, lead efforts in category management, item assortment, and manage and meet trade budgets and profitability goals for assigned businesses. As part of a small organization this role will collaborate extensively with the customer service, marketing and finance functions. It is vital that the candidate possess sufficient relevant experience to be a confident voice at the table and be able to effectively interact with a high caliber team.
Key areas of responsibility include:
• 50% Travel
• Track, meet and exceed planned volume, forecast updates, trade expense and profitability goals
• Build relationships and manage and evaluate Broker team effectively by communicating expectations and tracking results.
• Prepare and meet with key customer decision makers to review Attune and category business in order to maximize our product assortment, shelf placement and trade support plans.
• Share updates and communicates openly and frequently with other sales team members, customer service, marketing and finance functions coordinating efforts with the rest of the team functions.
• Evaluate and execute pricing strategies and changes to the line with assigned brokers, distributors and retailers.
• Participate in and provide input for company annual planning as well as operational forecasting for both volume and trade expenses and maintain updates proactively.
• Participate and coordinate customer meetings at trade show events which may require occasional weekend work.
Requirements:
The successful candidate will have experience in broker management and direct sales experience with key distributors and retailers with a solid understanding of category management and trade management. Expertise in the natural and conventional food industry is valuable and a passion for health and nutrition required.

About Your Background
• At least 10 years broker management and direct sales leadership following successful stints of roles at a food or CPG company.
• Experience managing broker and customer partner relationships.
• Minimum of a BA or BS.
• Experience working with software: Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, IRI/Nielsen, Spins, SIS, Oak, Portal, Retail Link, Salesforce.com
This position reports to the Director or Sales and would be preferably based in the Mid-West. The compensation range for this position will be competitive.
