Community Marketing Representative for Attune Foods

We are currently seeking a project-based Community Marketing Representative (CMR) to take part in various events and marketing initiatives on an ongoing project by project basis. Who you are: Bright, energetic, outgoing, organized, and motivated person responsible for consumer connections and event execution, along with brand-building in the community. The successful candidate for this job will be a self-starter who is able to work effectively with little direction and guidance.
Hours/Days: Due to the project-based nature of this position hours will vary by month. We are requesting flexible hours, weekends a must. The opportunity to work with our sister-companies is an option if additional hours are desired.
Salary: $20 per hour, plus compensation for mileage driven (after the first 50 miles).
Primary Responsibilities:
- Serve as representative at Attune sponsored events such as races, conferences, festivals, etc.
- Deliver and set up presence at events including product, signage and literature
- Educate consumers on product attributes, nutrition information, and associated health benefits
- Hand out samples of Attune to event attendees
- Distribute product literature and coupons, direct consumers to local retailers
- Breakdown presence at all events, return necessary materials to Attune office
- Email digital photos, feedback, statistics and overall summary after each event
- Build relationship with event organizers, keep updated on future opportunities
- As time permits, recommend area events or sampling opportunities
- Occasionally visit area retail stores to check on product placement and stock
- Occasionally talk to store marketing representatives to identify future marketing opportunities at the store level; pitch any new ideas as appropriate
Qualifications and Requirements:
- MUST have your own car, mobile phone and computer access
- Digital camera would be a plus
- Friendly and confident personality, enjoy working with people
- Attention to detail and ability to follow-through
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities
- Good communicator
- Flexibility and willingness to roll up one's sleeves to get the job done
- Reliability is a must
- Prior experience with marketing and sales a plus
- Some college
