This month’s Attune Foods team poll question: Do you believe there is such a thing as a healthy treat? What does that look like for you?
What about you? How would you answer those questions?
ANGELA
I think everything’s good in moderation. If I’m going to be exercising, I’ll treat myself to a scoop of ice cream or popcorn. I don’t ever want to limit myself.
BRIANA
Yes, there are healthy treats. It would be something sweet but not fatty, like having a couple of gummies.
DEB
Sure, lots of healthy treats! Yogurt with fruit in it. Old fashioned (stove top prepared) Popcorn. Yogurt and frozen fruit smoothie… when someone else is cleaning the blender!
JERRY
Sure. Fruits and vegetables qualify. Apples and oranges come to mind.
MARVIN
Yes. Celery sticks. No calories and lots of fiber. Just don’t dip them in ranch as it defeats the purpose of a healthy treat. Carrot sticks count too.
MIKE
Oh, definitely. It’s got to be related to fruit. Cherries, strawberries, grapes. Healthy treats are fruit.
STEVE
My healthy treat is mixing up the flavors of my breakfast cereals with Uncle Sam cereal, Erewhon Cocoa Crispy Brown Rice Cereal, a Cinnamon Graham Cracker and Nonfat Vanilla Yogurt. YUM.
