    Attune Foods' Viral Video Contest Gives Fans and Budding Producers the Opportunity To Win Cash, Fame and Attune Bars

     
    San Francisco - March 30, 2009 - California-based Attune Foods, the company that introduced the world's first probiotic chocolate bar, is asking its fans to help them create a fun viral video that shows the world how they "Keep in Tune" by enjoying Attune bars daily.
     
    "Everyone loves chocolate and everyone loves to feel good. This contest is our way of getting the word out through a short video that eating Attune chocolate and granola bars everyday can help keep your digestive system in tune thanks to the health benefits of probiotics," said Attune CEO Rob Hurlbut. "What better way than to create a great visual where Attune fans can sing our praises and compete for a chance to win a great cash prize, Attune products and fame on our Web site."

    Beginning April 1, 2009, Attune fans and budding videographers/producers can submit their creative, one-of-a-kind video about the probiotic bars via YouTube or through the mail for a chance to win $777 in cash and seven weeks worth of Attune bars - so you can eat a bar seven days of the week for seven weeks! All submissions must be original, two minutes or less, not include over the top branding (ie, Web site or logo usage) and incorporate one or more of the following Attune attributes:
    • Delicious chocolate (or granola) - truly yum!
    • Full of healthy probiotics for stomach woes and regularity
    • 7 Days a week! Eat daily to help keep you from getting sick
    • Great for traveling
    • Found in the refrigerated yogurt aisle
    • Yummier and more portable than yogurt
    A sample video entry can be viewed at www.attunefoods.com. All video submissions must be accompanied by an entry form that is downloadable at www.attunefoods.com and submitted via mail. Videos will be judged upon creativity, inclusion of Attune attribute(s) and originality.

    The Grand Prize video will be posted on www.attunefoods.com, as well as included in a press release and on Attune's Facebook fan page. The creator of the Grand Prize video will also receive $777 and a seven week supply of Attune bars. Two alternate prize winners will receive an Attune fan pack complete with an Attune T-shirt, and Attune products. All winners will have their video, name and image promoted in Attune Foods marketing and public relations activities.

    Videos can either be submitted via www.YouTube.com or by mailing a DVD to Attune Foods Video Contest, 505 Sansome Street, 7th Floor, San Francisco, CA 94111. Videos uploaded to YouTube must be titled in a specific format: "Attune Video 09" followed by the contestant's first initial and last name (example: Attune Video 09: J. Smith) for judging purposes.

    The contest is open to residents of all 50 states. Entries may be submitted from April 1, 2009 through April 30, 2009. Entry forms must be postmarked no later than April 30, 2009 to qualify.     Attune Chocolate Bars retail for $1.19 each and are available in 80-calorie Dark Chocolate and Mint Chocolate, Chocolate Crisp and Blueberry Vanilla varieties (just 90-100 calories each). The 170-calorie Attune Granola Probiotic Bars feature a light, yogurt-flavored coating and come in Peanut Butter & Chocolate, Chewy Chocolate, Strawberry Bliss and Mango Peach.
